Great question! We would never rob any baby of vital nutrients! Colostrum is produced by mothers of all mammals…even humans. And all mothers are extremely efficient-nutrient producing machines! Just like mothers produce much more milk than is necessary for the health of their babies, they also produce much more colostrum than is necessary for the health of their offspring. After a certain point, babies don’t receive any additional benefit from consuming more colostrum. And since colostrum is so nutrient-rich, only a small amount is used in our skincare products. We would never take needed nutrients away from babies.
