He states there is no scientific research that directly substantiates the carcinogenic claims made regarding DMDM Hydantoin. He also doubled checked in a few well known chemical and toxicology journals to ensure this was a safe ingredient. Formaldehyde is linked to cancer when there is prolonged and repeated exposure at high concentrations.
