What does the PA ++++ mean on the Solar Milk Sunscreen?Updated 7 days ago

Great question! There are two types of UV rays that our sunscreen protects against, UVA and UVB.

UVB rays are "burning" rays. The SPF value indicates the level of protection against the UVB, "burning" rays that cause sunburn.

UVA rays are "aging" rays. The PA value indicates the level of protection against these UVA "aging" rays that increase sun-induced premature aging.

The Solar Milk Clear SPF 50 PA++++ Sunscreen Gel for Face and the new Solar Milk Mineral SPF 50 PA +++ Sunscreen for Face offers among the highest of sun protection.
